How El Squid Roe Supports the Community Year-Round
At El Squid Roe, we believe in giving back to our beloved community in Los Cabos. Throughout the year, we organize impactful events, charitable initiatives, and hands-on efforts to support, celebrate, and uplift those around us. Cancel Cancer: A Dual-Impact Event
In partnership with the Letty Coppel Foundation, our Retro Party for a Cause raised significant funds for breast cancer survivors in need of custom-made external prosthetics. Through donations, raffles, and auctions, we are proud to support over 100 women, providing comfort, confidence, and community support.
We also hosted a celebratory event to present these prosthetics to the brave women who inspired us. It was a day filled with gratitude, joy, and empowerment—an unforgettable testament to the power of community.
Celebrating Differences - Children's Day for Kids with Disabilities
Each year, El Squid Roe transforms into a colorful, magical wonderland for kids with disabilities on Children’s Day. With face painting, live shows, games, and prizes, our venue becomes a place where every child can feel special, supported, and celebrated. Our team joins the fun dressed as princesses and superheroes, creating lasting memories for these wonderful children.
Want to make a difference? You can donate a toy before April 28th, and we’ll match it with a second one! Drop off your donations at the entrance to help bring smiles to kids in our community.
Keep It Clean:- Staff-Led Downtown Clean-Up
Our commitment to Los Cabos extends to preserving its beauty. Through regular downtown clean-ups, our team hits the streets in branded merch to pick up litter and keep our city pristine. This effort is our way of showing pride in our community and keeping it clean for everyone to enjoy.
Beach Sweep:- Seaside Clean-Up Efforts
Beyond the streets, we also focus on maintaining the breathtaking beaches of Los Cabos. Our Seaside Clean-Up initiative gathers our team to help protect the natural beauty of our coastal paradise. These efforts contribute to a safer, cleaner environment for locals, wildlife, and visitors.
Pink with Compassion:- Breast Cancer Awareness All Year Round
In support of breast cancer awareness, we’ve painted our iconic London bus pink to symbolize our commitment to this cause. All year round, guests can choose to add a donation to their tab in support of breast cancer research and support. Every contribution makes a difference. Just ask your server how to participate.
