Labor Day weekend is summer's last hurrah, and Cabo San Lucas is where US travelers come to send it off. World-famous since 1989, El Squid Roe is a nightclub, bar, and restaurant bringing three floors of music and party energy to Blvd. Lázaro Cárdenas 1112, right on the Marina in downtown Cabo San Lucas — the natural finish line for the summer.
What the night looks like
There's a go-big-before-fall feeling to Labor Day weekend, and the crowd matches it. Friends squeezing in a final summer trip, end-of-season groups, and travelers chasing one more warm night all converge downtown. DJs and live entertainment run all three floors while the open-air levels make the most of the late-summer evening. It's one of the most charged weekends on the Cabo calendar.
Why book ahead
Because it's the last long weekend of summer, Labor Day pulls a huge wave of US travelers — and downtown Cabo fills fast. A reserved VIP bottle-service table means you skip the door line, lock in a guaranteed spot for your group, and start the celebration immediately instead of waiting outside on one of the year's busiest nights.
Tables & bottle service
Grab a bottle-service table for a dedicated home base with service all night and the guest list. On a closing-out-summer weekend this busy at a three-story nightclub, an early reservation is what keeps your night smooth from the door onward.
